haha... no dual layer disks for you blu-g@y... looks like unless you want your disk to only play for 3 months before the layers start to separate blu-g@y is limited to 25gb putting hd dvd 5gb ahead. haha.
(i know that this could probably be fixed very easily in manufacturing; however, that doesn't change the fact that if this goes to mainstream media blu-g@y is 99% fvcked)
an image backup works only on that one computer the drivers installed are specific to that computer. where my method works on any number of computers. not to mention with the method i use when M$ releases their monthly patches it takes about 5 minutes to add them to my disk where as you would have to make a whole new image and what not.
well its really an ongoing thing, as M$ releases patches and fixes for things you add them in and you find more things you DONT use so you take them out... but just to get started it took a few days of reading and trial and error to get a good stable working install. but if you wanna get into it a GREAT place to learn more about all the little bits of windows is the forum over at www.msfn.org and probably one of the best programs i have used, and its 100% free and updated all the time, is nLi...
i just reformat and install my own custom unattended/slipstreamed/modded win-xp it runs as smooth as butter on just about any pc i put it on. i even had it running on an old old old ibm thinkpad clocked at 233mhz with 32mb ram. nlite is your friend. it was a little tricky getting EVERYTHING running like it should on my girlfriends new hp pavilion laptop, mainly becuase it shipped with vista (which i hate) and they (hp) dont support xp very well with thier newer models as far as drivers go and...
i always thought that the gta series started on the PC... silly me. i and all the rest of the educated world must be wrong.
